Walne Law, PLLC, is a transactional law firm primarily involved with upstream oil and gas companies.  The Firm has represented small and mid-market companies and individuals engaged in onshore and offshore exploration and production operations, acquisitions and dispositions of producing oil and gas properties and other energy-related transactions, as well as general corporate governance. The Firm has also represented several lending institutions in all aspects of their reserve-based financing transactions, including negotiations, due diligence examinations, and loan document preparation.  In the past the Firm has consisted of as many as five attorneys and staff, but today it is limited to Mr. Walne.

Mr. Walne has almost fifty years of experience in the oil and gas business, primarily as an attorney, but also as the owner of exploration and production companies.  He understands the complexity of the industry in which the Firm’s clients operate, and he has the experience to know the questions to ask to find out precisely what the Firm’s clients need. Mr. Walne takes pride in drafting succinct, clearly written agreements, and he finds great satisfaction in working with the Firm’s clients toward the advancement and success of their businesses.
